Counting the Omer Day 37
Day Thirty-Seven – הַיּוֹם שִׁבְעָה וּשְׁלֹשִׁים לָעֹמֶר
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 14:26–27

“Shalom!”
This simple greeting can carry the most basic meaning of “hi.” The wider meaning of the Hebrew word describes not just an absence of conflict but a fullness of how things should be. Some people seek help from pastors and counselors to solve relationship problems. Our ultimate counselor is the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God works to remind, counsel, and equip us to live full lives according to God’s plan. Our security in life is assured as the Spirit of God brings to mind God’s truth.
• Who do you first look to when you need help?
• How do I experience the Spirit of God as a counselor in my life? How can I promote interactions and relationship with Him? How do I experience relationship with the Spirit as more than a theoretical exercise?
• How would I explain my relationship with the Spirit of God to a new believer?
