“Walk in Him and be built up…”
Our Messiah wants to walk with us in this life. Do you believe that? He continues to work in our life after our initial coming to faith, to build us up in Him and establish our faith. He works things into our lives to make us the people He desires us to be. He holds us responsible for our choices and directs us to ways that are dependent upon Him. Our lives of freedom are anchored in Him. Like trains, we are most free when we stay on the tracks designed for us. He instructs us as we go along the way and is never late with His provisions.
• What situation(s) in my life seem to be lacking God’s provisions? Seek Him today and continue in persistent prayer for these areas of your life.
• Does God really supply all our needs? Do we lack any good thing? Discuss with someone today the difference between needs and wants and how easy it is to confuse them?
• Read Psalm 32 together with a group. How do be balance not leaning on our own understanding and having understanding given by God?
