Sukkot
Erev Sukkot, Sunday, Oct 16, 6:00pm
We will eat the festival meal together at 6:00pm and spend the
rest of the evening rejoicing in the Sukkah (dancing, singing, reading Qohelet.)
Monday, Oct 17, is a Sabbath (no morning service at the Shul; Celebrate as we visit together in our Sukkot.)
Erev Shemini Atzeret, (8th Day), Sunday, Oct 23, 6:00pm
We will eat the festival meal at 6:00pm, and conclude the Sukkot
Festival together.
We will also celebrate Simchat Torah together after dinner, unrolling the scrolls as per our custom.
Monday, Oct 24, is a Sabbath (no morning service at the Shul)
Open Sukkah Schedule
Here is the schedule of Sukkahs that will be open for everyone to rejoice in during Sukkot. As always, these are weather permitting, so if the weather looks questionable then give the host a call to confirm that guests are still expected. Also, plan to be outside–that means bringing your cold weather gear…this is Washington after all. It also never hurts to bring a couple outdoor chairs along just in case. Last, but certainly not least, bring nosh (food)…you know how we love our nosh!
