Please come to join us at the Shul for our Erev Yom Kippur & Yom Kippur Services.
Remember that from Erev Yom Kippur (sunset on Oct 11) until sunset on Oct 12,
we are to observe a fast so as to meditate upon the meaning of Yom Kippur.

Erev Yom Kippur Service – Friday, Oct 11, 7:30pm
We will eat dinner at home before sunset, and then come to the Shul for the
Kol Nidre Service at 7:30 PM.

Yom Kippur Service – Shabbat, Oct 12, 4:30pm
We will have our service, focusing on the lessons of Yom Kippur
and concluding with reading of Jonah. Following sunset,
which is around 6:30 pm Pacific time, we will break the fast together.
Please bring some food, drinks, desert, etc. for our “potluck” dinner
as we break the fast.

As we gather together for the festival of Yom Kippur,
let us uphold the Land of Israel in our prayers.
For the war that is taking place against Israel has heightened.
Surely our Lord is powerful to protect and give victory to His chosen people.
And may the hand and power of the Almighty in protecting Israel cause many
to turn to Him and receive and confess Yeshua as their Savior and Eternal King.
   ̏Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you. May peace be within your walls,
and prosperity within your palaces.˝ (Psalm 122:6-7)
